JAECOO's much-anticipated launch event in New Zealand battled heavy rain and gusty winds to showcase the brand's commitment to excellence and innovation.

Held at the stunning Kauri Bay Boomrock venue in Clevedon just south of Auckland, the launch marked JAECOO's launch into New Zealand, the 11th market the brand has been welcomed in. The first model into the market is the J7. A model that promises to set new standards in the automotive industry in the medium SUV segment. Attendees were greeted with a warm welcome and a chance to explore the J7's cutting-edge features, celebrating the owners of the first J7 ever sold in Aotearoa and introducing the brand's first brand ambassador , 'Mr J' as we like to call him, Jay Reeve.  

Most importantly, the much anticipated pricing was announced with the J7 available at two trim levels, the front-wheel -drive EX coming in at a special introductory offer at $37,990+ORC and the EX+ AWD coming in at $43,990+ORC. The J7 comes packed with a 1.6L turbo petrol engine (with a plug-on hybrid (PHEV) under consideration) mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.  Notably the J7 comes with 7-year unlimited km warranty and up to 7-years roadside assist.
